Standard and Custom Sales
Price quotations can be obtained from your local sales rep or our Lansdale, PA office and will be valid for 30 days, and otherwise are subject to change without notice. Prices are NET wholesale and no further discounts will apply. Prices do not include freight or any federal, state or local taxes of any nature. All prices are fixture less lamps. Fixtures may be subject to re-pricing if deposit is received later than 30 days from proposal date. Orders are not scheduled until deposit and approvals are received.
Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications approved or ordered by the owner or architect, or by any employee or agent thereof or by the general contractor, whether orally or in writing, which results in extra costs to FSL shall become an extra charge over and above the original estimate and the requesting party shall promptly pay FSL such reasonable charges upon request by FSL.
All orders require a signed purchase order or letter accompanied with a 50% deposit with the balance, including freight, due prior to shipment. Appropriate packing and freight charges, as well as state sales tax, if applicable, will be added to your final balance. A 1.5% per month finance charge will be assessed to all past due accounts.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
All merchandise is made to order, and therefore, we cannot accept returns or cancellations of orders. If, in the rare occasion, we do grant a cancellation, we will assess a 75% charge of the total price, or if greater, actual costs incurred by FSL as of the time of cancellation.
Most standard items are available to ship in 6-8 weeks or less, and most custom items are available to ship in 8-10 weeks or less. An estimated ship date will be stated on your order acknowledgement. This is our best estimate for production time and should not be deemed as a fixed or guaranteed date.
PACKING & FREIGHT
FSL produces electrical lighting components and diffuser material to create a unique lighting fixture. FSL may choose to ship the electrical components separately from the glass or diffuser elements used in our products. All prices are FOB our factories and are shipped at the purchaser’s risk and expense. Packing and freight charges will be quoted in advance only when requested.
Most items can be shipped via UPS. Items exceeding UPS size or weight limitations will be shipped via land carrier. Our responsibility for safe travel ceases when the goods have been turned over in good condition to the transport company. Shipments should be inspected immediately upon arrival for loss, shortage or damage in transit and all claims entered at once with the carrier. All packaging materials and damaged merchandise should be held for inspection by the carrier. The recipient of the damaged shipment is responsible for initiating a damage claim with the carrier with ten (10) days.
INSPECTION, INSTALLATION & LIMITED WARRANTY
Buyer must inspect goods for any defects within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. No claims will be accepted after 10 days. FSL warrants its products to be free from material and workmanship defects for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. This warranty is limited to the correction of any such defect or the replacement of the defective item. This warranty does not cover labor, shipping costs, removal or installation costs. It specifically excludes broken glass and damaged finishes due to the unsuitability of many cleaning agents, and occasional pitting or fissures in cast components which are inherent to cast parts. Any change or alteration to the fixture will void the warranty unless authorized in advance by FSL.
